  Milk receiving units

The reception group allows the collecting of the milk from the road bulk tankers and to send it to the storage tanks. REDA system uses a certain vacuum level created in a balance vat to suck the milk from the tankers by a flexible pipe. This vacuum permits a degasation of the milk in the balance vat and is kept constat by a vacuum feeding group and a vacuum pump. Then the milk is sent to the cooling-storage section by a centrifugal pump controlled by a frequency converter.

The system has moreover a synthetic grid filter with manometer and a magnetic-inductive flowmeter that enables to measure the milk reception and to manage the draining and the milk recovery phases. Its functioning is totally automated: a specific software permits the drainage at the first receiving, the milk recovery in line at the end of receiving phase, the automatic stop when tanker is empty (vacuum sensor in line), the CIP cleaning and the record of all datas. All this by a specific installed software.

The automated cleaning cycle is made by connecting a flexible pipe to the CIP inlet and allows to clean all in line elements up to the storage section and, periodically, the vacuum group too.
