High Shear Mixer Granulators and Fluid Bed Systems

FROM START TO FINISH – ONLY THE BEST. Maintaining a leading position in process engineering means enhancing the efficiency and economy of processes. This starts with the fluid bed and high-shear mixer granulator systems for laboratory size applications, which offer the equivalent performance and system features of our production sized equipment. OYSTAR HÜTTLIN continues this geometric similarity with the pilot size systems, thereby offering the best conditions for successful scale-up. 1) Gentlewing impeller and Diskjet process gas distributor plate with the bottom-mounted three-component nozzle for all system sizes. 2) Ideal for product transfer due to the modular design. Allowing the use of optional top spray nozzle and sieve bottoms as well as other models of impellers. 3) Accurate support during transfer from lab to production size with the innovative NexStep scale-up software.

Fluid bed technology

LEAD ON PRINCIPLE
- Hüttli2+n Fluid Bed. Present challenges facing the pharmaceutical industry include flexibility in production, processes that are optimized for the long term, and fast production procedures. Fluid bed technology from OYSTAR HÜTTLIN offers all of these options and helps you to gain a competitive lead: 1) The Diskjet with its tangential air exit ensures optimum exchange of substances and energy as well as a drastically reduced process time for drying, granulating and coating. 2) The special arrangement of the three-component nozzles guarantees excellent quality of the granulate and homogeneous coating with very short process times.

Tube Filling Machines

OYSTAR IWK´s tube filling machine program offers round table and diagonal track machines. As the renowned market leader in the field OYSTAR IWK supplies the appropriate scope of packaging systems from standard machines to custom tailored complex packaging solutions. Direct, compact combinations with downstream IWK cartoning machines make for an efficient production.

  1. Cartoning Machines

    Cartoners for the continuous as well as the intermittent mode of operation are a part of OYSTAR IWK´s production program, an ideal prerequisite for packaging line integrations with our tube fillers and blister packaging machines or in combination with OEM equipment. Nevertheless, our stand alone machines with their product specific transfers still account for a sizeable number of machines per year.

    Blister Packaging Machines


    Whether the entry level machine with proven technology or the high-tech solution is needed, OYSTAR IWK can be of help to select YOUR choice. OYSTAR IWK offer solutions for unconventional and extraordinary packaging requirements, especially in the field of solida for the pharmaceutical industry. A gap has been closed in OYSTAR IWK´s primary packaging machinery program through the development of a new blister machine generation.

    Modular tube handling systems are used to meet ever more demanding process and packaging requirements. They are a versatile supplement to OYSTAR IWK´s machinery for most diverse products and packages.

    Roller Compactors, Cantilever design

    With the BT series, Alexanderwerk offers a compactor for use in the pharmaceutical industry, for compacting preparations or active substances.

    Roller Compactors, Rollers supported on both ends

    Alexanderwerk has been developing and producing roller compactors for the chemical and natural resources industries since the 1950s. The PP 175 from Alexanderwerk is a member of a completely new generation of high-performance roller compactors. The PP 175 from Alexanderwerk complements the series below the 250. The machine’s design and construction meets all the requirements of the chemical and natural resources industries:

    Moist Granulators

    The MG series is made completely of high quality stainless steel, and it is thus equally suited for use in the pharmaceutical industry, or in the natural resources or chemical industries.

  3. Rotor Fine Granulator as slip-on attachment

    The RFG series has been developed by Alexanderwerk as a slip-on attachment to a universal drive motor of the UM series. The UM universal drive motor has an integrated quick release coupling via which a variety of slip-on attachments can be mounted on the UM. Such attachments may be optionally grater/shredders, moist granulators, or mixers.

    Grater/Shredders

    Grater/shredder designed for inline installation or as mobile unit with a grating or shredding cylinder diameter of 165mm, for throughput rates through 1,000 kg/hr. (Photo shows the design version with an optional control unit).
